The purpose of the festival is to expand international cultural relations through the art of puppets, familiarize the audience with the culture of other countries and convey the diversity and richness of the cultural traditions of different peoples [2] .
The jury includes not only art critics known in Ukraine and Russia, but also “small winners” - students of secondary schools. The main criterion - "worries the action or do not care."
The idea of the festival matured at a meeting in the office of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, where the director of the Vinnytsia Theater, Mikhail Baidyuk, with his usual confidence and discretion, said that the idea to create a regional festival of puppet theaters was ripe. He outlined the concept of the future of the festival and attracted his colleagues to it, citing at once the cost calculations. We decided to hold the festival once every two years [1] .
