The village is located about 20 km south of the district center Bogovarovo .
According to local legend, they determined the construction of the Church of God on the other side of the forest river Ryundyug, at the place where the cemetery is now. They laid a pillar, which, as it were, served as the construction site of the church. And they hung on the pillar the icon Introduction to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary (hence the name of the village). The next morning the builders did not find the icon, it turned out to be not a tree, on the other side of the river. How many times the icon was not transferred, it again appeared on this coast. So they decided to build a church on this side of the river, where the village now stands. The villagers celebrate the day of their village on December 4, when the Orthodox Church celebrates the Mother of God holiday Introduction to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the second half of the 19th century, the present refectory was replaced by the now existing, more extensive two-limit refectory with a bell tower, and the territory of the church site is surrounded by the now-lost brick fence. Probably at the first stage of its development, the village of Vedeno or Introduction was a graveyard: according to old-timers, in 1875 near with the temple there were houses for priests, a church hall, a separate house for nuns, a school and a post office, and peasant houses began to appear here only at the end of the 19th century. On September 1, 1869, a school began to operate in the Vvedensky church, where 7 boys and 3 girls studied. The final seminary was taught by Nikolai Smirnov and Deacon Onisy Andreev. Taught reading, writing and bookkeeping. Classes were held in the building of the parish school attached to the church. Now it is the Vlasov School, in which the famous poet, a native of the village of Vlasiha, Vladimir Kostrov studied.
