It is located 20 km northwest of the district center Likhoslavl , between the streams of Peschanka and Zhuravikha. The Likhoslavl- Kalashnikovo highway passes through the village.
The population according to the 2002 census is 111 people, 54 men, 57 women.
History
The name of the village was written before Antsyforovo or Antsyfarovo. In 1913, the village of Antsyfarovo, the center of the Dorsky volost of Novotorzhye district , belonged to the Ploskovsky parish (the village of Big Ploskoe ).
In the 1930s and 40s, the village was the center of the Antsyfarovsky Village Council , there is a collective farm, a school, a post office, a veterinary station, a reading room.
In the 1970s and 80s, the village was part of the Gutta village council, the inhabitants worked at the Antsifarovsky state farm (directorate in the village of Gutta ).
In 1997, in the village of Antsifarovo in the Gutta rural district there were 48 households, 137 inhabitants.
