Geography
The village is located 6 km from the administrative center of the Gmina village Kyshkovo , 16 km from the city of Gniezno and 35 km from the city of Poznan . Located in the territory of Lednitsky landscape park .
History
From 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Poznan province. Since 1980, the Orze Gniazdo Harz station has been located in the village. In 2008, the Wielkopolska Rehabilitation Center was built in the village [2] .
On January 1, 2013, a part of it, called “ Polya-Lednitske, ” separated from the village of Icelki and became an administratively independent village [3] . Prior to the formation of the village of Pola-Lednické, in 1997, a youth congress called “Ogólnopolskie Spotkanie Młodych - Lednica 2000” ( All-Polish Youth Meeting - Lednica 2000 ) was held in the village of Icelki.
Attractions
- Near the village there is a settlement of the neolithic period, which is part of the Museum of the First Piast .
- The Way of St. James passes through the village.
