Biography
The representative of the noble Polish magnate clan Leshchinsky coat of arms of Weniaw . The only son of the chestnut of Brest-Kuyavian Ian Leshchinsky (d. 1535 ) and Maria de Marcelanges, the widow of Yaroslav Sokolovsky.
In his youth he studied in Zlotiria under the guidance of Valentin Trotsendorf and Krishtof Hegendorfina. In 1541, a nobleman surrounded by the Polish king Sigismund I the Old . After the resignation of the governor of Brest-Kuyavsky ( 1550 ), Rafail Leshchinsky was elected ambassador to the Sejm in 1552 . He was elected ambassador to the Sejm from Greater Poland in 1562 - 1563 and 1563 - 1564 , from the Kalisz voivodship in 1566 , from the Poznan voivodship in 1569 . In 1552 and 1562 - 1563 he was twice elected Marshal of the Sejm. In 1570, Rafail Leshchinsky traveled to Moscow as part of the Polish-Lithuanian Embassy. In 1580 he was appointed Sremsky cough , and in 1581 he built a Protestant cathedral in Golukhov.
He defended the gentry from the tycoons of wealthy owners. He was one of the famous Czech brothers in Greater Poland , during the Lublin Diet ( 1569 ) he advocated the inclusion of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania into the Kingdom of Poland.
Family
Rafail Leshchinsky was twice married. In 1543/1544, he married Barbara Volskaya with his first marriage, from whom he had children:

Until 1574, he remarried to Anna Korzhbok Zavadskaya, daughter of Count Henryk Korzhbok. Children:
