Fedorov, Alexander Ilyich (military)

Alexander Ilyich Fedorov (1774–1813) - Russian soldier, colonel , commander of the 4th Chasseur Regiment , participant in the coalition wars of the Patriotic War of 1812 and the Russian-Swedish war.

Biography

Alexander Fedorov was born in 1774, in a noble family of the Oryol province.

In 1793, Fedorov joined the corporal service as corporal in the Preobrazhensky Life Guards Regiment , where in the same year he was promoted to sergeants, granted a lieutenant and cavalier of the Cavalry Corps, with enrollment in the Nizhny Novgorod Musketeers Regiment .

With the disbanding of the Horse Guards, in 1796, the captains were made and assigned to the Yaroslavl Musketeers Regiment.

In 1799, during the War of the Second Coalition, he took part in a campaign on the island of Corfu. Produced next year in the Majors, from 1802 to 1806 he was in the airborne unit in Naples.

In 1806, he was in charge of the major brigade in the corps of Count Buchsguden, who entered Prussia, and participated in the battles of Jankov and Preussis-Eylau, and for the distinction shown here was granted the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree. Then Fedorov was in pursuit of the enemy before the Passargi River, for which he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 2nd degree, and in the battles of Heilsberg and Friedland, for which he received the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree.

Translated in December 1806 by a lieutenant colonel to the Uglitsk Musketeer Regiment , Fedorov was appointed to the 3rd Egersky Regiment in 1808 and at the same time took part in the siege of Sveaborg , being awarded the Order of St. Anna of the 2nd degree, decorated with diamonds, and at the pick, Ulalimo was awarded the highest favor.

In 1809, Fedorov was appointed regimental commander of the 4th Egersky regiment , and in 1810 he was granted a colonel, leaving his previous position.

Alexander Ilch Fyodorov died in 1813 in one of the campaigns of the Russian imperial army while mortally wounded in a battle.
