DD (type of river vessels)


DD , “Dove” , “Onezhets” - a type of single-deck helical diesel tugboats with a wheelhouse on the forecastle. 433 projects were built in series - at the Pella Leningrad Shipyard , Yaroslavl Shipyard , TM-73 project at the Riga Ship Repair and Shipbuilding Plant, Onega Machine Building Plant ( Petrozavodsk ); ship repair and shipbuilding plant named after Andre Marti (Ukraine, Odessa.

The first tug of Project 73 of the Onega Machine-Building Plant was launched on October 30, 1950. A part of the tugboats across the Arctic Ocean were sent to customers on the Ob, Yenisei, Lena rivers, as well as on Kamchatka and the Vladivostok port. Onegzavod produced these vessels until 1956 [1] .

The crew is 6 people, the minimum is 2 people.
