Rectify Errors is an American television series created by Ray McKinnon, starring Aden Young and Abigail Spencer . The project went on the Sundance Channel and became the first dramatic series of the channel showing independent films [1] . The plot focuses on Daniel Holden, who, as a teenager, was convicted of the murder of his sixteen-year-old girlfriend. Nineteen years later, on death row it turns out that according to new DNA data, he cannot be guilty, and he is released. He soon returns to his family in a small town in Georgia .

The premiere of the third season took place in the second half of 2015 [3] . On January 8, 2016, SundanceTV announced that the fourth season would complete the series [4] . December 14, 2016 aired the final episode of the series.

The series received high marks from critics who noted the elaboration of the characters' characters, acting, script and manner of shooting [5] [6] [7] . Abigail Spencer was nominated for the TV Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series [8] . In 2015, the series was awarded the Peabody Prize [9] .
