Koshankol ( Kazakh. Koshankul ) is a village in the Kaztalovsky district of the West Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Koshankol rural district. It is located about 40 km northwest of the village of Kaztalovka . The KATO code is 274857100 [1] .

The village is located 1.5 km west of the Small Uzen River , along which the Kazakh-Russian border runs in the vicinity of the village.
Population
In 1999, the village population was 1619 people (836 men and 783 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1,473 people lived in the village (777 men and 696 women) [2] .
