Force of Habit (from the English - “Strength of habit”) is the fifth album of the thrash metal band Exodus . The group moved slightly away from the traditional thrash metal - the songs became slower and more experimental. Most song titles are figures of speech.

Force of Habit is Exodus' latest album featuring drummer John Tempesta and the only one featuring bassist Michael Butler. Only on this album the word Exodus is not written in angular type.
By 2002, the total number of album copies sold in the US reached 52,000 [2] .
In 2008, a limited re-release of the album was released. The packaging was made similar to the original vinyl release, including the cover. Remastered and included bonus songs from the Japanese edition.
