Pavel Aleksandrovich Turzhansky was born on September 21, 1888 in the city of Radom. The Polish kingdom in the family of a state councilor. Father - Turzhansky Alexander Alexandrovich (1851-1912), a participant in the Russian-Turkish war. Mother - Turzhanskaya Evgenia Pavlovna - a children's writer under the pseudonym Evgenia de Turge-Turzhanskaya. He is the eldest brother among his brothers Turzhansky Alexander (1898-1982) and Boris 1900-1948 .

Biography
Turzhansky Pavel Aleksandrovich graduated from Smolensk real school . In the fall of 1907 he entered the Marine Corps in the senior general class. In service since 1908. In 1911 he graduated from the Marine Corps
• November 16, 1911 was assigned to the 1st Baltic Fleet Crew. • November 31, 1911 was decommissioned to the location of the Main Naval Headquarters. • December 6, 1911 was re-enlisted in the 1st Baltic crew . • 08/15/1913 he was sent to theoretical courses of aviation named after V. Zakharov at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. • 07/03/1914 sent to the Aviation Officer School of the Air Fleet Department for flight training. • 07/05/1914 was enrolled in the general course students. • 07/08/1914 made its first independent flight on an aircraft such as Farman. • 07/19/1914 was sent to the city of Revel , to the 3rd aviation station. • September 17, 1914 - December 12, 1914, head of the observation post “Luserort”. • 12/05/1914, the duty officer at the central station of the Southern region of the Baltic Sea Communications Service. • On March 24, 1915, during a training flight over a paper lake, he fell with the apparatus from a height of 35 meters, having received a neck punch in front and behind the apparatus. • 04/11/1916 transferred to the 2nd aviation station. • 12/19/1916 the head of the air unit "G". • 12/31/1916, approved in this position. • On December 18, 1918, after switching to white, he commanded a machine-gun platoon in the Revel detachment of the Russian Self-Defense of the Estland Territory. Then he fought with the Bolsheviks as part of the brigade of armored trains OKSA . • 10/01/1919 was appointed commander of the heavy tank "Brown Bear" in the tank battalion SZA . • 1919-1920, commanded a tank in the Northwest Army of General Yudenich. • 02/15/1920 on a minesweeper “Whalers” with a group of officers makes a campaign from the city of Revel to the city of Bezert Tunisia. • 05/01/1920 after a long stay with a group of officers left the ship. • 1920-1940 lived in France . • 09.09.1944 died in France .
