Asan (Zelenovsky District)

Asan ( Kaz. Asan , until 2010 - Naberezhnoe [1] ) is a village in the Zelenovsky District of the West Kazakhstan Oblast of Kazakhstan . Included in the Michurinsky rural district.

The village is located on the left bank of the Chagan River, 2 km north of the northern outskirts of Uralsk .

Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 614 people (299 men and 315 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 946 people lived in the village (462 men and 484 women) [2] .
