Biography
Rory was born into a transnational Irish and Indian family. In childhood, he and his family moved to England. He returned to the States as a teenager. In New York, he enters the Fiorello La Guardia School of the Arts.
Already in the years of study Cochrane begins to act in films and on TV. In 1990, he appears in the series H.E.L.P. the next year he will make his debut in a big movie, playing in the thriller of James Dearden's “ Kiss before dying ” (the role of Cochrane lasted only 15 seconds). In 1992, the actor plays his first significant role in the film "Fathers and Sons," where Jeff Goldblum and Famke Janssen became his partners.
In 1994-95, Rory twice removed from Renee Zellweger , on the set between the actors romance begins.
Cochrane tries his hand at the theater. In the movie, he most often gets the supporting role. For example, in “Hart's War” by Gregory Hoblit and The Clouding by Richard Linklater . On television, the actor can be seen in the successful 24 Hours and CSI: Miami Crime Scene series.
In 2011, Rory begins to appear in the political thriller “ Operation Argo” , which later received a lot of film awards and nominations. Among them is the Oscar for the best film .
