Biography
Born on November 7, 1920 in the village of Osipovo (now in the Pestovsky district of the Novgorod region ). In 1937 he graduated from high school in the village of Bogoslovo [1] in the Pestovsky district of the Leningrad region, then he graduated from two courses of the Leningrad Forestry Academy . Since 1939 he worked at the Pestovsky timber industry enterprise.
In June 1940, the Pestovskiy district military registration and enlistment office was called up for military service in the Red Army, where he served in rifle units. Since June 1941, he participated in the hostilities of the Great Patriotic War on the Leningrad Front , and since October 1941 - on the Volkhov Front . February 10, 1942 was seriously injured. After the hospital, he was sent to study at the Gorky Tank School , after which in 1943 he was sent to the 11th Tank Brigade on the South-Western Front as a tank commander. May 31, 1943 was awarded the medal "For Courage" . In 1943 he joined the CPSU (b) .
Since October 1943 - on the 4th Ukrainian Front . He commanded a tank platoon, since 1944 - the commander of a tank company. He left wrecked and burning tanks 14 times, was shell-shocked and wounded. January 3, 1944 was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree . Since September 1944 - on the 2nd Ukrainian Front . In the battles on the former Hungarian border (October 6-17, 1944) he personally destroyed a tank, 10 guns, two mortar batteries, 4 cars, as well as a large amount of enemy manpower. December 8, 1944 was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree. January 7, 1945, in the vicinity of the village of Zamol [2] (Hungary), during the Budapest operation , commanding four tanks, Nekrasov accepted the battle with 20 enemy tanks and two infantry companies; - Soviet tankers destroyed 13 German tanks (personally the company commander Nekrasov knocked out 6 tanks) and 8 armored personnel carriers, destroyed infantry to the company [3] . January 12, 1945 was awarded the Order of the Red Banner.
In the territory of Czechoslovakia, during an offensive operation in the Moravian-Ostrava direction, on April 16, 1945 near the village of Markuvana, the company commander Nekrasov personally organized and carried out reconnaissance, which made it possible to destroy the enemy garrison in that village with a surprise attack, without any damage to his tanks, 2 tanks, 3 armored personnel carriers, 5 guns, 12 vehicles and up to 200 enemy soldiers were destroyed; On April 17, 1945, a tank company under the command of Nekrasov, having liberated the villages of Zhabchitsa and Grushovany from the enemy, was the first to reach the Svratka River, capturing the crossing over it. The company commander Nekrasov was wounded in this battle, but did not leave the command, only after the second - a severe wound and the approach of the main forces of the 41st Guards Tank Brigade [3] . On May 15, 1945 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, a year later, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 15, 1946, Dmitry Fedorovich Nekrasov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal.
After the war he continued military service, in 1946 he graduated from the Higher Officer Armored School . He served in the tank troops until being transferred to the reserve in 1971 with the rank of colonel. Then he worked as the head of the personnel department of the Donetskugol plant in the city of Donetsk .
He died on March 10, 1997. He was buried in Donetsk .
