The administrative center of the Semenovsky rural settlement .
Four settlements are located on the territory of the Semenovsky rural settlement: the village of Semenovka, the Morozovka farm, the Rossokhovaty farm, the village of Pirogovo.
The village of Semenovka was founded in the second half of the 18th century by Little Russian peasants, subjects of the Vorontsov landowners.
According to 1858, there were 258 households with a population of 1,570 people. village was the center of the Semenov volost of the Pavlovsk district.
At the beginning of the 1920s, in the course of changing the administrative division of counties, the Semenov volost passed from Pavlovsk district to Kalacheev district.
