The 29th east longitude meridian is the line of longitude , 29 degrees east of the Greenwich meridian , passing from the North Pole through the Arctic Ocean , the Indian Ocean , Europe , Africa , the Southern Ocean and Antarctica to the South Pole and forming an orthodromy from the 151st longitude meridian .

Details
The border of the disputed Abyei region (between Sudan and South Sudan [1] passes along the meridian.
The border between Egypt and Libya during the Ottoman Empire also passed along the meridian; the modern border - along the 25th meridian - was established by the British Empire (at the expense of Italian Libya ) at the beginning of the 20th century [2] .
The border along the meridian was marked in 1926-1927, and only on paper [3] [ specify ] .
In 1897, missionary Dan Crawford ( en: Dan Crawford (missionary) ) made his journey inland into the south of Africa south of Lake Mweru [4] .
