"The coat of arms of the municipality, the city of Gus-Khrustalny is a quadrangular, with rounded lower corners, a heraldic shield with a goose in profile, with wings raised on a red and blue background, pointed at the tip."

In Soviet times, there was a project of the coat of arms of the city, known for its 1968 souvenir badges: a golden goose in a black field. Later, another emblem project was issued on the badges: the emblem of the Vladimir region was in the upper part of the shield, and a silver flying goose was in the azure field in the lower part. Coat of arms designs were not officially approved.

In the post-Soviet period, at the end of the 90s, the coat of arms of Gus-Khrustalny was officially approved (there is no exact date in open sources of information). The coat of arms was entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 452.

The emblem of the city was as follows: in half crossed with scarlet (red), in the upper part and azure (blue, blue), in the lower part, the shield is a white flying goose.

On July 29, 2003, the first version of the coat of arms of the Gus-Khrustalny District was approved, and on April 24, 2012 - the current coat of arms of the region. In both arms there was a silver goose from the city coat of arms.
