Geographical position
Gulagac district on the administrative map of silt Aksaray
The city is located in the eastern part of the silt, at a distance of about 25 kilometers east of the city of Aksaray , the administrative center of the province, at an altitude of 1162 meters above sea level [1] .
The area of the district is 286 km².
Population
According to the Institute of Statistics of Turkey, the population of Gulagac in 2012 was 4,565 people, of whom 49.8% were men, and 50.2% were women, respectively [2] . The dynamics of the population of the city by years [3] :
