Biography
He studied law at the University of Krakow and abroad.
He was a colleague of Hugo Colontai . He was a member of the preparation committee for the uprising of Kosciuszko [4] . He took part in the Warsaw uprising .
In March 1807 he became the Vice-President of Warsaw, and from July 4, 1807 until December 1815 he was the President of Warsaw . Resigned due to disagreements with the Grand Duke Constantine . In 1812 - 1815 he additionally commanded the People's Guard.
Since 1816, the judge of the Court of Appeal. Since 1817, Chairman of the Trade Tribunal. In 1829 he retired and was elected chairman of the mortgage holders committee.
November 30, 1830 became again the President of Warsaw and remained in office until June 26, 1831 .
In 1815, he was a great master of the Masonic Lodge “The Great East of the People of Poland”. He was also a member of the Warsaw Society of Friends of Science.
He died on February 12, 1845 in Warsaw and was buried at Pow Повzkowo Cemetery . On his grave is a monument to the work of Yakub Tatarkievich (restored in the early 80s of the 20th century).
