Kalinkino (October rural settlement)

Kalinkino is a village of the Lomovsky rural district in the October rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region ^[1] .

The village is located on the right high bank of the Volga River , in the southeastern part of the settlement, downstream of the large village of Pesochnoe and the village of Volga , which is separated by a small stream, downstream Kalinkino, but at a distance of about 1 km from the shore is the village of Kupalino . 2 km south of Kalinkino there is a large village, in fact, the village of Dyudkovo , it has multi-storey well-maintained houses and other infrastructure elements: a secondary school, a medical outpatient clinic, a savings bank office, a post office ^[2] .

The village of Kalinkino is indicated on the general survey plan of the Borisoglebsky district in 1792. According to 1859, Kalinkino belonged to the Romanovo-Borisoglebsky district ^[3] .

As of January 1, 2007, there were no permanent residents in the village ^[4] . On a topographic map compiled according to 1989, it is also shown as non-residential. The village is served by a post office located in the village of Dyudkovo, but the postal site does not indicate the number of addresses served ^[5] .
