Ramsing is one of the traditional wind musical instruments in India , consisting of four thin, inserted into one another metal pipes, most often copper, coated with bright red paint. Used to send signals over long distances, the game requires a sufficiently strong and large volume of lungs. It has a fairly sharp and long sound.
Ramsing is mentioned in the stories of the Italian writer Emilio Salgari : “Secrets of the Black Jungle”, “Two Tigers” and others.
