Career
Club
A pupil of the school of Ordzhonikidzevsky "Spartacus" [1] . The first match in the major league was held on March 15, 1994, replacing Mikhail Marhel at the 88th minute [2] . After six games played, he was sent by head coach Valery Gazzaev to Avtodor from the first league , where he spent 14 meetings (1 goal) . In the next three seasons, he played 27 matches for Alania, and played the second half of 1997 on loan at the Torpedo-Luzhniki club. The next season began in Alania, but was again leased out - first for a season and a half to Spartak in Nalchik , and then to Dynamo in Stavropol for six months.
From 2000 to 2003, he again played for Alania. In total, the Vladikavkaz team played 91 matches in the country's top league, scoring five goals. Together with the team he became the champion of the country in 1995, as well as the silver medalist of the championship in 1996. He took part in the 1996/97 UEFA Cup draw against the Scottish Glasgow Rangers and the Polish club Amika in the 2000/01 draw [3] .
He spent the 2004 season in the club of amateur football league - Moscow " Nika " [4] . The player ended his career in 2005 in the club of the first league “ Volgar-Gazprom ” from Astrakhan . The reason for such an early end of performances was a serious injury received by the player in 2002 [5] .
Coaching
In February 2009, Botsiev in tandem with Ruslan Suanov was appointed head coach of Vladikavkaz Avtodor . At the end of the season, despite the successful performance of the team and, as a result, the fifth place in the championship, the contract with specialists was not extended [6] .
