Biography
Born in 1789. Came from the nobles. January 27, 1804 entered the colonnade into the retinue of His Imperial Majesty for the quartermaster part. On July 15, 1805 he was promoted to warrant officer, with the transfer to the Preobrazhensky regiment. On October 25 of the same year, he was transferred by the est-junker to the Cavalier Guard regiment and on February 14, 1808, promoted to cornet. He participated with the regiment in the campaigns of 1807 and 1812. In 1810 he was promoted to lieutenant, in 1813 to the staff captain. He took part in the battle near Maloyaroslavets. In 1813-1814 he was under General Bennigsen and participated in affairs near Dresden (October 1), in the battle of Leipzig (October 6) at Froz (October 27).
In 1814, in the affairs of Gasme and Goron, on the island of Wilhelmsburg (January 28 and February 5), while taking the Tifemtan batteries (March 4). In 1815 he was appointed adjutant to Prince Barclay de Tolly, and in 1816 he was promoted to registers. On March 4, 1818, he was granted the adjutant wing, on July 25 of the same year, Colonel. On October 2, 1827, he was promoted to major general with the appointment of being under the head of the 2nd Horse-Ranger Division, in 1832 he was appointed to be a cavalry, and on February 1, 1834 he was dismissed from service, with a uniform and pension. He died in 1856.
