From 1967 to 1987, 91 issues were released. Including twice about K. Marx , V. I. Lenin , A. P. Gaidar , Avicenna , Yu. A. Gagarin , S. P. Korolev , I. P. Pavlov , wives of the Decembrists . The first book appeared on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Soviet power - the compilation “Comrade Lenin ” (reprinted in 1976 ), the last - about the leader of the German proletariat, the outstanding figure in the international labor movement Telman ( I. Minutko , E. Sharapov - “The Mouth Front!” ) - saw the light in 1987 .
Books were published in a standard edition (100 thousand copies) in the same design. The serial mark is a ship with wind-filled sails on the inscription “Pioneer - means the first” stylized as sea waves. Under the sign on the vanguard - the motto of the series:
