The center of the somon is the village of Nuga , located 167 kilometers from the administrative center of aimak - the city of Uliastay and 1350 kilometers from the capital of the country - Ulan Bator [2] .
Geography
Somon is located in the western part of Mongolia . It borders with neighboring somons Durvelin , Santmargats , Urgamal , Tsetsen-Uul and Erdeneheirhan . The river Hungui flows through the territory of Zavkhanmandala [2] .
Climate
The climate is sharply continental. The average January temperature is -25 degrees, July +25 degrees, the annual rainfall is 120-200 mm [2] .
Fauna
The fauna of Zavkhanmandala is represented by mountain sheep, roe deer, foxes, corsacs , wolves, wild cats [2] .
Infrastructure
In somone there is a school, a hospital, cultural, trade and cultural centers [2] .
