History
The Beginning of Creativity (2002–2007)
In 2002, the Patzner brothers duet began playing cello metal on the streets of Berkeley, California. They soon recorded their first demo Acoustic EP themselves, to distribute it to listeners on the streets [1] .
Soon, drummer John Bush, a friend of the band’s creators, joined the band. In 2004, the band released their first studio album Dark Opus . By that time, the group had already refined the sound at concert performances and began to actively use the distortion effect in the performance, which allows them to be fully attributed to metal .
After a break in creativity related to Lewis’s release from the conservatory and Anthon’s employment in the Bright Eyes indie project, in 2008 Judgement Day released an EP (mini-album) called Opus 3 .
2008-Present
In 2009, a track called Out of the Abyss: Live on Tape was published. In 2010, the band released their second full studio album, Peacocks / Pink Monsters .
