Mokey Wet [1] - a day in the folk calendar of the Eastern Slavs , falling on May 11 (24) . The name of the day comes from the name of St. Mokios of Amphipolis . On this day, peasants judged the weather for the summer, men suspended sowing work [1] .

Rites and beliefs
In the morning, watch the sunrise and weather. Based on the observations they make forecasts for the summer [6] : “Wet on Mokia - wait for the summer even wetter” [7] . “Fog on Mokia - to the wet summer” [8] . "Crimson Sunrise - to the formidable, fire summer" [8] .
The Orthodox Church celebrates the renewal of Constantinople (Constantinople) on this day. The people rethought this event in their own way. Peasants believed that on this day there is a celebration of the Tsar Grad , sending storm clouds and hail [9] . The farmers considered it a sin on the “Christian day of the renewal of Tsar-grad” to sow bread, otherwise they would beat it with hail [10] .
It was believed that forget-me-nots bloomed on this day. According to popular legend, this flower is named so that people have a memory that they do not forget about their ancestors, defenders of the Fatherland, teachers. Forget-me-not was given in memory of any of the relatives. On this day, those who left a good memory were remembered [11] .
