July 18 or Diecio de Julio ( Spanish 18 de Julio ) is a small town in the southeastern part of Uruguay , in the Rocha department.

Content
Geography
It is located about 9 km west of the city of Chui , on the road number 19. On the eastern outskirts of the city is Fort San Miguel, built in 1737 by the Portuguese.
History
July 12, 1909, the village of San Miguel received its modern name, as well as the status of the village ( Pueblo ) by decree No. 3.495 [1] . June 20, 1961 received the status of a small town ( Villa ) by decree No. 12.876 [2] .
