The area of ​​the village is 19.1 hectares [2] .

Klimovshchina is located on the left bank of the Belaya River, near its confluence with Kirva , on the highway Khvoynaya - Kabozha - Pestovo , at an altitude of 129 m above sea level [3] , 7 km east of the village of Bogoslovo and 10 km northeast from the village at the station Abrosovo . In the village of Klimovschina there is a post office, zip code - 174542. From the west of the village (on the territory of the former estate Klimovschina ) there was a children's recreation camp “Energetik”. There is an object of cultural heritage - Ushakova Manor (a manor house [4] and a park of 5.3 hectares [5] ). Five mass graves of unknown Soviet soldiers are located in the village [6]

History

In the list of populated areas of Ustyuzhensky district of the Novgorod province for 1909, the estate and graveyard of Klimovschina are listed as belonging to the Kirvo-Klimovsky volost (2nd camp, 2nd land plot). The population of the estate is Klimovshchina , which was then on the land of the peasant Pletnev and his comrades - 36 residents: men - 13, women - 23, the number of residential buildings - 6; there was a mill, the population of Klimovshchina adjacent to the estate, that was on church land - 12 people: men - 2, women - 10, the number of residential buildings - 5 [7] . Then from June 10, 1918 until July 31, 1927 as part of the Ustyuzhensky district of the Cherepovets province , then the center of the Klimovsky village council of the Pestovsky district of the Cherepovets district of the Leningrad region . By decision of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR of July 23, 1930, the Cherepovets district was abolished, and the district became directly subordinate to the Leningrad Executive Committee. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 5, 1944, the Pestovsky District was transferred from the Leningrad Region to the newly formed Novgorod Region. By the decision of the Novgorod Oblast Executive Committee No. 1200 of December 28, 1960, the Klimovsky Village Council was abolished, and the Klimovshchina became part of the Theological Village Council with the center of the village of Bogoslovo [8] .

With the adoption of the Russian law of July 6, 1991 "On local self-government in the RSFSR" and Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1617 of October 9, 1993 "On the reform of representative bodies of power and local self-government in the Russian Federation", the activities of the Theological Village Council were terminated ahead of schedule. Later, the Administration of the Theological Village Council (Theological Village Administration) was formed. According to the results of the municipal reform , since 2005 the village has been part of the municipality - the Theological Village Settlement of the Pestovsky Municipal District ( local government ), according to the administrative-territorial structure it is subordinated to the administration of the Theological Village Settlement of the Pestovsky District [9] . A theological rural settlement with an administrative center in the village of Bogoslovo was created by combining the territory of three rural administrations: Bogoslovskaya, Abrosovskaya, Bryakunovskaya [10] .
