The name has been known since 1900. It is connected with the fact that the embankment passes at the Perepad Dam, built to discharge water for the period of repair work (it was erected by engineer R. Gausman in 1863). There was also a variant of the Perepada embankment [1] . The embankment passes near the Drain Canal , but its embankment is not: there is a building between them.
The section from house 25 to Malaya Leningradskaya street is a path through the railway [2] .
In 2010, the city handed over to the parish of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul a land plot on Perepadskaya Embankment, 1. The house located there was demolished, and an unauthorized chapel appeared closer to Primorsky highway. An open temple parking was organized on the site itself. In 2014, the city through the court legalized the chapel, having recorded it in its ownership, while the area with parking formed at the expense of the site remained [3] .
