Big Terenkul is a lake in the Chelyabinsk region , in the Chebarkulsky district , north of the city of Chebarkul . It borders Ilmensky reserve .

Geography
There are many small and medium-sized lakes around Bolshoi Terenkul: Big and Small Miassovo , Savelkul , Baraus , Kaigusta , the Pond , Small Kisegach and Small Sunukul . The nearest settlements are the villages of Verkhnye Karasi , Krutolapova , Nepryakhino and the village of Kumysny .
The beaches are sandy, covered with stormy vegetation. The lake is filled with mountain keys.
Administratively part of Nepryakhinskoye rural settlement .
Title
The name translates as “deep lake” (Teren - “deep”, Kul - “lake”) [2] .
Plant and Animal World
The bottom is sandy and stone. Here are found carp , roach , perch and pike [3] .
