Player Career
Club career
Despite the fact that Li was born in Guizhou , he began to play for the Liaoning Yandong team, representing northeast China. In 1995, he joined the Guangdong Hongyuan team, for which he played for two seasons. The team was tasked with winning the championship title, but it finished the 1995 championship only fourth [2] . The next season was even more unsuccessful - Guangdong took only seventh place in the league, and the Sichuan Guancheng club bought the transfer of Li Bin for 1.5 million yuan . The new club once again set high goals, but only in 1999 the team won the “bronze” of the championship. [3] In 2002, he completed his career as a player.
International Career
The player began to play for the national team of China in 1992. He played 78 matches for the national team and scored 22 goals. He participated in the Asian Cup 1992 and 1996 .
Coaching career
Lee began his coaching career in 2002 when he joined the coaching staff of the Zhejiang Luicheng team. In the 2007 season, Lee became the head coach of Chengdu Blades , with whom he finished second in the first league and won the right to play in the Super League. [4] In the 2008 season, the team successfully performed and was able to gain a foothold in the top division, but the 2009 season was a failure, and Lee left the head coach after six rounds - the team won only one victory and lost five times. [5] Since 2010, he began to train the youth teams of China, first as an assistant, then as the head coach. On May 19, 2013, he was appointed acting head coach of the Guangzhou Fuli team.
