Ishkul is a lake in the Chelyabinsk region , north of the city of Miass . Located on the territory of the Ilmensky reserve .

Content
Geography
To the north are lakes Karamatkul , Syrytkul , Teren-Kul , Karabalyk , as well as the Argazinskoye reservoir . To the east is Seyidkul . The nearest settlements are the villages of Novoandreevka (in the urban district of Miass) and South Gornyak .
Administratively included in the city district of Miass .
Title
The name Bashkir, in translation means “paired, connected lake”, where ish - “paired, connected”, kul - “lake”. Perhaps the name came from the Bashkir male name Ishkul, where ish - “partner, comrade, brother” [2] .
Flora and fauna
There are nine species of fish in the lake; since 1948, beavers have taken root [3] .
