The headquarters of the company is located in Alytus . Only manufacturer of refrigeration units in the Baltic states. It produces more than 30 models and about 200 different modifications of refrigerators, freezers, display cases and wine coolers, spare parts for them. 97% of products are exported to more than 30 countries in Europe and Asia. Production capacity - 550,000 refrigerators and freezers per year [1] .

History
In 1963 , the production of the first household refrigerators in Lithuania was started at the production base of the Alytus Machine-Building Plant.
In 1964 , the first conveyor of refrigeration units was equipped.
In 1966 , the production process was significantly improved: conveyors for assembling refrigerators were launched.
In 1967 , a new plastic parts production line was acquired in Germany and Hungary.
In 1975 , more than 1 million refrigerators were produced.
In 1977 , Snaigė joined the ATLANT production association.
In 1983 , AB Snaigė began exporting products to foreign countries.
In 1990 , society became subordinate to the Republic of Lithuania.
In 1992 , AB Snaigė was privatized and registered as a joint stock company.
In 2011, the Russian company Polair acquired a 59.86% stake in the company.
