Ahmed Best ( born Ahmed Best ; born August 19, 1973 ) is an American voice actor and musician. He is best known for his voice, which he voiced by JJ Binks in the Star Wars franchise. He later appeared on television, where he played JJ Jinx in the highly-successful special edition of Star Wars Robotsyp . He was also the creator, screenwriter, director and producer of his own television show "This Can't Be My Life." He also collaborated with George Lucas in 3 films and five episodes of the animated show Star Wars: The Clone Wars . He won the Annie Award for Best Scoring in an animated television series.

Early life
Ahmed Best was born in New York on August 19, 1973. He survived his majority in the semester of Soundview College in the Bronx . In 1984, he moved to Maplewood, New Jersey . He graduated from Columbia Private School. He then studied percussion at the Manhattan School of Music. [one]
Career
Music
In 1994, Ahmed joined the jazz band Jazzhole. He contributed to the success of the group for two years. He was also a producer and wrote three albums for the group, including The Jazzhole, And the Feeling Goes Around, and The Beat is the Bomb. In 1995, he produced and wrote the album “Escape” with Billy Evans.
Theater
In 1995, he joined the cast of the Obie Prize for staging Stomp. He traveled on tour with cast members throughout the United States and Europe. [one]
Cinema
In 1997, he was a member of the cast as JJ Binks to the Star Wars prequel trilogy (1999-2005). He was accepted into the team after the casting director, Robin Garland, oversaw his flexible athletic movements at Stomp.
Best returned to his role in the episode Robotsyp: Star Wars (also in its continuation), Star Wars: The Clone Wars , and in the episode of the Colbert Report series by Stephen Colbert.
Best also appeared with Star Wars team mates Dee Bradley Baker , James Arnold Taylor, and Daran Norris in the TV show, " Forward to Success ."
