Story
A nice, intriguing and funny parody of a detective film with a story about a private investigator hired by a mysterious woman. Even seemingly predictable moments suddenly present unexpected turns of events.
Harry Dobbs ( Tom Berenger ) is a private detective. His next client is a chic lady ( Archer ), who instructs Dobbs to follow her ex-husband and find out who his new passion is. On the first day of surveillance, Dobbs takes an outsider ( Ted Levine ) for his “object” and finds out a lot of provocative details of his life.
It turns out that he has two wives ( O'Toole , Capshaw ). At the same time, the detective’s jealous girlfriend hires novice detective Stella ( Perkins ) to keep an eye on Dobbs. Two private detectives, two suspects, two wives and many other characters will appear in this comedy, love thriller.
