He played as a point guard . He studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , in 1978 he was selected for the NBA draft under the 2nd number by the Kansas City Kings team. He later played for the New Jersey Nets , Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets . In total, the NBA spent 7 seasons.
