Purpose

The microscope was intended for medical and biological studies of transparent objects in transmitted light and for photographing them. When using the OI-21 reflected light illuminator, equipped with lenses, the microscope made it possible to study opaque objects in reflected light using the dark and light field method.

Device

The design of the microscope is standard.

Eyepieces and lenses

The microscope was equipped with three compensation eyepieces K-5, K-7 and K-10 (magnifications of 5 X , 7 X and 10 X , respectively) and four lenses with magnifications of 10 X , 20 X , 60 X and 90 X.

The microscope had magnifications:

  • with K-5 eyepieces - 50 X , 100 X , 300 X and 450 X ;
  • with K-7 eyepieces - 70 X , 140 X , 420 X and 630 X ;
  • with K-10 eyepieces - 100 X , 200 X , 600 X and 900 X.

Features

  1. The lighting system is mounted inside the base of the microscope;
  2. The microscope was connected to a network with a voltage of 120 V through a transformer;
  3. The microscope has a pancratic capacitor with a variable aperture;
  4. The microscope tube is removable;
  5. Rotating object table.
