Batnorov ( Mong. Batnorov ) - aimon somon Khentiy in the eastern part of Mongolia . The population according to 2010 was 2 693 people [1] .

The center of the somon is the village of Dund Burd , located 105 kilometers from the administrative center of aimak - the city of Underhaan and 436 kilometers from the capital of the country - Ulan Bator [2] .

Geography
Somon is located in the eastern part of Mongolia . It borders on neighboring somons of Bayan-Adarg , Bayan-Ovoo , Bayanhutag , Binder , Norovlin and Harlan . On the territory of Batnorov there are mountains Ulzisaykhan, Delgerhaan, Tsagaanchuluut, Delger-Ulziyt, Khukhchulut, Their Mangan Modot, the rivers Harlan, Urt, Ehekh flow.
Of the minerals in somone, non-ferrous metals and fluorspar are found [2] .
Climate
The climate is sharply continental. The average January temperature is -20-25 degrees, July + 16-20 degrees. The annual rainfall is 200-300 mm [2] .
Fauna
The animal world of Batnorov is represented by foxes, arctic foxes, and tarbagans [2] .
Infrastructure
In somone there is a school, a hospital, trade and service institutions [2] .
