Adobogion

Adobogiona (approximately 80 - 50 BC) is a Galatian princess from Anatolia. She was the daughter of the ruler of Galatia Deyotara and sister Brogitar .

She was married to a patrician from Pergamum Menodot. Avoiding poisoning at the banquet, she became the concubine of Tsar Pontus Mithridates VI .

Adobogion gave birth to the king the son of Mithridates I of Bosporus . In honor of the beloved woman of the ruler, laudatory inscriptions found on the island of Lesbos were created, as well as her bust, discovered in Pergamum.
