Geography
Krzemionki-Zakšovsk are located south of the Vistula in the territory of the former village of Zakšuvek in the administrative district of Dzielnica VIII Debniki .
History
Since the XIX century, intensive mining of limestone has been carried out in the territory of Krzemyonok-Zakzhuvskys, which led to the formation in the southern part of the hill of the pit, which after the cessation of work was filled with water. Currently, this site is a popular vacation spot for Krakow residents and is called Zakshuvsky Gulf. In the north-eastern part of the hills are former quarries, which are used for training by local climbing clubs. The rest of Krzemyonok-Zakšuvskie is covered in forest.
