It is part of the city settlement Krasavino [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Krasavinsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug by road is 26 km.
According to the 2002 census, the population is 45 people (21 men, 24 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
