It is part of the Yudinsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Yudinsky village council.

The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 5 km, to the center of the municipality of Yudino - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Slobodka , Zolotavtsevo , Afurino .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 67 people (30 men, 37 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (99%) [2] .
