It is part of the Shemogodsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Shemogodsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 31 km, to the center of the municipality of Aristovo - 15 km. The nearest settlements are Sondas , Ugol , Kozlovo , Veprevo , Klimlyovo , Pavshino .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
