It is part of the Shemogodsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Shemogodsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 17 km, to the center of the municipality of Aristovo - 1 km. The nearest settlements are Upper Pankratovo , Aristovo , Lower Pankratovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 54 people (24 men, 30 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
