It is part of the Shemogodsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Shemogodsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 29 km, to the center of the municipality of Aristovo - 13 km. The nearest settlements are Sondas , Ugol , Kozlovo , Luchnevo , Veprevo , Pavshino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 10 people [2] .
