It is a part of the Shimogodsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Shymogodsky Village Council.
The distance by road to the district center of Velikiy Ustyug is 34 km, to the center of the municipal entity Aristovo - 18 km. The nearest settlements are Balagurovo , Peña , Nasonovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 10 people [2] .
