It is part of the Ust-Alekseevsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Ust-Alekseevsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 60 km, to the center of the municipality of Ust-Alekseevo - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Opalevo , Zaozeritsa , Bear Vzvoz .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 32 people (15 men, 17 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
