The distance to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug by road is 15 km. The nearest settlements are Pestovo , Barsukovo , Kalikino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 879 people (433 men, 446 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
Monuments of architecture are located in Morozovitsa The residential wooden house of A. S. Kozulin [3] and the Trinity (Spasskaya) church [4] , near the village on the Pukhovo wasteland - Church of St. John Ustyuzhsky (Holy Spirit) [5] .
Nearby, on the site of the ancient city of Gleden , stands the Trinity-Gledensky monastery . The village arose in 1440, two years after the destruction of Gleden, and took part of its inhabitants.
