It is part of the Teplogorsk rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Teplogorsk village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Veliky Ustyug is 73 km, to the center of the municipality of Teplogorye - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Derevenka , Lukina Gora , Dernovo , Watamanovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 6 people [2] .
